I have contacted the JCC in Detroit, Michigan about having Mel (I am pretty sure everyone know's who I'm talking about but, if you don't, stop reading right now and get your ass over to stirrup-queens.blogspot.com for just about all the infertility/loss information you ever need) appear at their fall book fair with Navigating the Land of IF. She is in the Jewish Book Network. The woman I spoke to did sound as though they were interested but was a little unsure if there was enough interest. If you are in the Detroit/Toledo area and would like to have Melissa Ford in the area for a signing you can contact the JCC of Metropolitan Detroit at 248-661-1000, ask to speak with Ms. Keen, the literary events planner, and voice your interest.
P.S. If you are in the Toledo area and are wondering why I did not suggest you contact the JCC in Toledo the answer is that I was informed that they would not be considering this book for their fair this year. BOO.
